Care Requirements
Light : Thrives in bright, indirect light but can tolerate lower light conditions. Too much direct sunlight can cause the leaves to scorch or lose their golden color.
Watering : Prefers consistently moist soil but should not be waterlogged. Water when the top inch of the soil feels dry to the touch.
Humidity : Enjoys high humidity, typical of tropical plants. Misting the plant or placing it near a humidifier can help maintain adequate humidity levels.
Temperature : Prefers warm temperatures between 65°F and 80°F (18°C to 27°C) and should be protected from cold drafts or temperatures below 55°F (13°C).
Soil : Grows best in a well-draining, airy potting mix rich in organic matter. A mix designed for aroids or tropical plants is ideal.
Propagation
Can be propagated through stem cuttings. Cut a healthy stem below a node and place it in water or soil until it roots.
Uses
Indoor Plant : Due to its attractive foliage, it is a popular choice as an indoor houseplant. It adds a pop of color and a tropical feel to any space.
Outdoor Plant : In warmer climates (USDA zones 10–11), it can be grown outdoors as part of a tropical garden or landscape design.
